Application Scope:
Main consisting parts of a vacuum furnace includes thermal field and heater. Besides overall service, we deliver service of repairing furnace heating chamber to customers, or provide them with brand new thermal field and heater.
Characteristics:
According to the furnace styles, thermal field can be separated into 2 categories: vertical and horizontal, or graphite and metal according to the heater’s material. Moreover, metal thermal field chooses different kind of metals as the heater’s material based on its working temperature.
Graphite thermal field uses graphite bar, graphite plate or graphite cylinder as its heater’s material. The cylinder graphite heater is only used for vertical vacuum furnace or hydrogen furnace. Graphite thermal field uses graphite hard felt and soft felt or hard felt only as insulation material with a max. operating temperature of 2200℃
Metal thermal field whose operating temperature is below 900℃ shall adopt the nichrome heater. This kind of heater has birdcage, cylinder, and ring style. Its insulation device consists of 4~5 layers of SUS shielding and it can reach high vacuum level with good insulation performance and lower degassing.
Metal thermal field whose operating temperature ranges from 1000 to 1700℃ shall adopt the Molybdenum or Tantalum heater. This kind of heater has mesh, birdcage, cylinder, and ring style. Its insulation device consists of 5-8 layers of Molybdenum and SUS shielding. It can reach high vacuum level with good insulation performance and lower degassing.
Metal thermal field whose operating temperature ranges from 1800 to 2500℃ shall adopt the Tungsten heater. This kind of heater has cylinder and mesh style. Its insulation device consists of 8-12 layers of Tungsten shielding, Molybdenum shielding and SUS shielding. Layers’ number is determined by the exact operating temperature. It can reach high vacuum level with good insulation performance and lower degassing.
